I've put dolls from Italia here in their own section since they're so different from the other items I've seen available to the European market. They're even manufactured by a different company: Giochi Preziosi, which means "precious gift."

Principessa Serenity

To my knowledge, this is the only version of Serenity (other than customs) that's ever been produced. It's in a really big box.

Dancing Sailor Moon

Sailor Moon will dance for you, "Con musica e luchi." All it takes is about a jillion AA batteries.

Sailor Moon Magiche Principesse Volanti

In other words, a Sailor Moon skydancer. On the back they picture a whole crew of inner senshi skydancers. Collect 'em all!

Chibiusa con Pegasus Magiche Principesse Volanti

One thing for sure about these Italian dolls, they have the longest names in the world. This is another skydancer--you launch Chibi Moon from a Pegasus stand by pulling the string form Peg's butt.

"Portere del Cristallo di Luna!"

Super Chibiusa Parlante

Chibi ain't so chibi any more in this Italian version. She's as tall as Sailor Moon!

Chibiuse e Pegasus

For some reason, this Chibi is properly scaled to the rest of the dolls.

Super Sailor Moon

This is in the vein of the Japanese style quick change dolls, although the box and the doll itself are very distinctive. The back of the box shows the whole crew of tranforming dolls.

Another quick-change-style dolls. Love those faces!

Sailor Moon

Sailor Moon from the "regular" GP series of dolls (think "R" I guess). Notice she doesn't have piping on her skirt like the rest of the Italian Inner Senshi.

Inner Senshi

The rest of the Italian Inner Senshi. Notice, they're even posed differently in the box than the other European versions of the Sailor Scouts--they seem to be taking a step forward.

Sailor Moon Giganti

Slightly SD version of Usagi. She seems to be identical to the large sized Moon doll I picked up in Canada last year.

Sailor Moon Sailor Beauty

This is a kid-sized makeup kit that comes with a Moon doll. Reading the list of Italian beauty products on the side of the box is a kick, especially if you don't read Italian. It includes "Spazzoli."
