Jenny
- Happy Color Jenny Blue
- This is not just any old weird haired doll, no no! Jenny's got Happy Color! Aren't you happier now? Take a gander at the back of the box to see the other two happy Jenny dolls, in pink, and lemon yellow.
- Happy Color Jenny booklet
- Got an old Takara Jenny or Barbie doll? Here's a cool thing to do: open 'er up and take a look at the neato keen booklet inside. This one shows Jenny buddies, Olive, Timotei, Jeff, and my main man, Tom.
- Candy Pop Barbie
- From the old days, while Jenny was still masquerading as Barbie. This doll was pictured in one of Glenn Mandeville's articles a while back, and I've been looking for her ever since. I just love her confident stance in the box.
- Candy Pop Barbie booklet
- This is the booklet that was packaged with Candy Pop Barbie. Page 2. Ooo, love that plaid coat, Ken. :-) Page 3. Wouldn't you just love to have a time machine set for 1985?
- Totoco Kisara with long blue hair
- In a shameless bit of pandering to Kisara fans world wide, the Totoco shop created a series of weird-haired Kisara dolls this year. The other set sports a Lulu-like bob hairstyle, but these long-haired dolls are pure Morticia Addams.
- Totoco Kisara with long red hair
- The worst decision for folks like me (Kisara fetishists with a yen for weird haired dolls) is: which Kisara to choose? Being the woman with no will power, it's no choice for me, I gotta have all of 'em!
- Totoco Kisara with black hair
- Oh, Kisara, how you tempt me with those darned side-glancing eyes!
Sailor Moon
- Sailor Moon R Mercury
- Not much Sailor Moonia this time, but what I have is very, very good. This is my one and only doll from the R series, the show's second season.
Gojira!
- Gojira DX
- Run for life--it "walking" Gojira! This mechanical representation of the "King of Monsters not only walks, he roars! Here's a scan of the box, including the back. Would you ever, in a million billion years have guessed he's going "GAOOOOO!" when he roars?
Magic Knight Rayearth
- Umi CharaDoll Selection
- Your fave magical trio, here has been re-released by Sega in the CharaDoll Selection series.
- Fuu CharaDoll Selection
- Although the packaging isn't as colorful this time around, as far as I can tell, the dolls and all the accessories are identical to the original MKR dolls.
- Hikaru CharaDoll Selection
- So what are you waiting for? Go get yourself a set of Rayearth dolls to save your bedroom, your cubicle, your car, or anything around that calls for Magic Knights.
Odds and ends
- Utena candy
- Look what I found at Uwajimaya, along with Pocky and a little talking Pikachu: Utena candy!
- Active Styling Athena
- A character from "King of Fighters 97," which I'll assume is a video game. This is in Kotobukiya's Active Styling series, although the packaging is very different from what I've seen so far.
