Pants!

S Club girls rock out in their groovy pantsuits

Jenny Club S Kisara
Kisara is livin' large in her sparkley blue pantsuit. Isn't this doll adorable? Love the pink lipstick.
Jenny Club S Shion
Shion! I actually won the right to purchase this doll on Biscuit's Club by writing a silly song about Shion and her purple pantsuit. Shion actually uses the same head mold as her "cousin" Kisara, but she has straight ahead eyes instead of a side-glance. She's still pretty cute. Here's a shot of the happy pantsuit dolls together. Kisara has the Super Action body, so she's a bit taller.

Licc-a-rama

I never considered myself a Licca collector, but it looks like I've acquired enough of Jenny's little sister to consider this particular can o' worms opened. Just for the compulsive people out there, Licca-chan actually has a much longer history at Takara than Jenny, who actually started out as a by-product of Takara's short-lived license to produce Barbie. Unlike Jenny, whose claim to fame is a retinue of friends, Licca-chan boasts a real family tree, including Pappa, Mamma, grandparents, and multiple incredibly cute younger siblings.

Takara 2001 "Gift to Stockholders"
This neat package was evidently an annual treat to Takara stockholders. What a cool annual report! In keeping with the 2001 theme, the box pictures an astronaut with the Takara mascot, Dakko-chan along for the ride. Inside, you get an appropriately futuristic version of Licca-chan, along with a Choro Q car, and some more Dakko-chan mascots. Here's another image. I don't know if it's visible, but Licca actually has a little Dakko-chan image on the front of her dress. This is very cool, and definitely the only toy I own that includs a list of the Takara board of directors.
Red Shadow Licca
I'll admit I don't know too much about this doll, I just saw her on Yahoo! Japan and took a liking to her outfit and coloring. Notice she's wearing thigh-high boots!
Hello Kitty Licca
This is actually just one in a series of dolls featuring Licca and the perrenial Sanrio product. I like this particular example because it fits into my "Licca as a somewhat disturbing furry mascot" series. As you can see, the set includes a giant Hello Kitty head for Licca to wear.
Monchichi Licca
Exhibit 2 in today's Licca Scary Mascot Series. This gal was actually available with differnt colored Monchichi monkeys. She kinda looks like something out of The Flintstones with the fur getup (including a tail!). I love the freckles on her face though.

Well, my mocha's getting cold, gotta kick back and check out the New York Times.
