Utena animation cel Does this rock, or does this rock? OK, I spent a little bit of money on her. But, hey, this is Utena we're talking about! Wouldn't you love to have had the chance to get a Rose of Versailles cel? Anthy, Utena and Touga plushies My very first Utena toys. Anybody else see that gorgeous Anthy model in December's Hobby Japan? ChuChu plushie Am I the only one who is growing increasingly disturbed by "cute" mascots that are being tacked onto anime these days? This scary little monkey-thing from Utena is a prime example. I am a sucker for cute--witness all the Mokona toys and plush Totoros clogging our tiny abode. But if you're going to do kawaii, for god's sakes, at least do it right! Who the hell thought up Vampire Miyu getting a cute mascot? What next? Ewoks? Juri Arisugawa plushie Oops! I originally had this catcher misidentified as Touga Kiryuu. You can actually see Touga (along with Utena and Anthy) up above. Thanks to everyone who wrote in. Important lesson: that's what happens when you try to write HTML code at 1 am. :-) Miki Kaoru plushie Aha! My last two UFO catchers from the first (and as far as I know, only) Shoujo Kakumei Utena set. But.....now I'm wondering whether they may have also made a catcher for Saionji. I mean, that's him on the tag. Hmmmm... Utena in Hobby Japan This is the very first glimpse we had of the Utena doll--a teeny tiny picture in the back of Figure Oh Utena CharaDoll Selection This doll is evidently from the same series as the 11" scale Sakura Wars Sakura and Ri dolls. However, they're used that darned Sega "hyper-shoujo" head mold for this doll, so she looks more like a Magic Knight Rayearth doll. Active Styling Utena This is from the same series as the EVA Active Styling dolls. It's more of the scale of the old Megos, only she has removable shoes and socks. Sega Real Model 18--Utena Tenjo Like the Sega Sakura Taisen figures, these action figures come with unique CDs, as well as a trading card, and that annoying little monkey character. Sega Real Model 19--Anthy Himemiya Overall, I don't like these figures quite as well as the Sakura Taisen ones (I don't like the card art quite as much). But, hey, they're Utena, so I can't complain too much. Utena keychain set These SD keychains have been on my wants list forever. They've been on my shelf for almost as long! Just keep forgetting to photograph them. is there no end to Utena merch? Geez, I hope not! Utena Cardass cards These cards are so damn purty, I'd like to scan them all in for you, only Gus is kicking me off the computer. Darn! Utena art book I don't usually include books, but this one is just so danged purty. Nice wraparound cover of Utena and Anthy. Utena candy Look what I found at Uwajimaya, along with Pocky and a little talking Pikachu: Utena candy!
