- Ai Happy Clover
- Another hysterical doll name from Azone. She actually does have little bitty clover on her blouse. No clue how to tell whether they are indeed happy.
- Belinda Tangerine Cat
- For once, a really great, grownup looking head mold from Azone! She's got some neat accessories too, like an extra pair of "leather" shorts. This insert has a neat drawing of the character as well.
- Caty Fairies of Darkness
- In which Azone exploits the Goth craze, much to the delight of collectors, and the disgust of our credit card companies. Her outfit is incredible. That's real ties on her bodice, and her boots come with real laces. My one objection, as with so many Azone dolls, is her face. Does that little happy smile look like a goth chick to you?
- Lycee Cyber Tricks
- Neat packaging job on these guys. Love how the eyes match the hair color too.
- Lycee Love Blitz
- Yet another doll for whom I waited (seeminly in vain) for many a month. But fear not! I'll admit, I mostly wanted her for the bizarre name. ("Love Blitz?" Is she threatening to annex the Sudetenland of your affection? Sounds like something Elvis Costello might have conjured up, back in the day.) But, she's a pretty cool doll, with pink eyes and pink stripes in her hair.
- Lycee Love Impulse
- Anybody remember Lycee Love Blitz? This is her blue cousin, Lycee Love Impulse. She's got the same boots, same hat, even the same pink streaks in her hair. So what's the difference? Ah, it's all in the plaid trim!
- Maya Cyber Tricks
- Check out the boots on this gal! How could you not like a doll with yellow eyes?
- Maya Visit to UK
- Speaking of interesting quotes, check out what's written on the insert to this punky Maya doll. Was she visiting some urban cowboys in London? Maya is my nominee for Best Pants on a Doll Ever.
- Minako Blast of Wind
- This Minako is garbed as a horsewoman, comeplete with rider's crop that has a little horse's head handle.
- Minako Fairies of Darkness
- Another cool goth chick from the Fairies of Darkness line. I like Minako's face mold better than many of the other Azone dolls.
- Sweet Rolita
- One of my favorite Azone dolls, purple-haired "Rolita," posing over on my Sailor Moon shelf. She's got the most wonderful pair of boots I have ever seen on a doll.
- Sahra Black Sorceress
- Really incredible accessories on this one, including a book of spells and pointy boots! My one objection, as always, is this the happy face of a black sorceress?
- Sahra Cyber Tricks
- Those are real zippers on the backs of her boots. Also, pink eyes to match her pink hair!
- Sahra Go on a Journey
- This doll was only available at Doll Show 10 (thanks, Rudi!). Where is going? Hrrrm. Anyway, thanks to the fanatics at Azone, she's got her hat and cape and boots. Now she just needs a Thomas Guide and a compass--maybe she can borrow them from a Scramble Minako?
- Dream of You Suzuna
- Like a lot of my Azone dolls, I dig this girl not for the doll itself (I'm not thrilled by Azone's head molds), but for the awesome clothing and accessories. In the case of this Suzuna, she's got wonderful buckle shoes.
