- Angels Garden Kyoko
- The Angels Garden dolls supposedly go to an international school
with Jenny. These three dolls, so the story goes, also work in a shop
called Ecorche. According to someone on the Biscuits Club list, this
translates as "scorched." 'Kay..... Here's an image of the honey blond friend, Kyoko.
She seems to go for paisley! Love the little pink purse. Here's a macro
of her face.
- Angels Garden Moe
- Moe is another (female) Ecorche staff member--note the shopping bag.
I love the and the fuzzy sweater.
Here's a picture of her face.
- Angels Garden Valerie
- Valerie is another Ecorche staff person, and she must also be the
local Britney Spears fan--just check out that
outfit! Here's an image of
her
face.
- Takara Bako Abel
- This pink-haired Jenny friend was a Takara Bako special, Takara's
online shop (Japan-only, of course!).
- Brigitte
- Here's an older Takara Jenny in the "Hamon" series. I'm not exactly
sure whether Brigitte was supposed to be an official Jenny friend, or a
line of her own. Anyway, with her smiley looks and ultra-blond hair, she
certainly resembles a certain
American doll whose name also begins in B. The Brigitte head mold was recently used
for the NB
21 prototype doll.
- Cheerleader Flora
- There cheerleader dolls all have the Super Action Body, plus extra
outfits.
- Supermodel Club Flora
- During her second year on the catwalk, Jenny formed a supermodel club, and let her friends Flora,
Ellie and Naomi strut the catwalk.
- Jane
- Jane is one of Jenny's friends who probably lives in a cool resort
area where Jenny can visit and buy a whole bunch of new outfits. Isn't
that convenient?
- Angels Garden Jessica
- This is the first of the Angels Garden friends I've bought. The AG
girls have a bit more "anime" features, and when I found out this gal had
pink hair, I was sold! Here's an image of Jessica
out of box, and her
face.
- Juliana
- A blast from the past. This Juliana doll was meant to commemorate the
Juliana's disco. The back of the
box shows Juliana and her bud Jenny getting down. Ah, the disco era.
Nowadays, Jenny and her friends probably do something cool, like
karaoke!
- Surfer Kaori
- Kaori is one of Jenny's new friends. She comes with a lot of cute
accessories, including an
extra outfit, and a little pink snorkel. But, hmmmm, she seems to be
missing something essential, like say.....a surfboard! Here's a close-up, so you can see her
cool pink lipstick.
- Chinese Lina
- My spouse nearly spilled his Pepsi when I showed him this doll. "It's
Japanese Princess Leia!" Well, not really.
-
Meirin
- For Jenny completists, Meirin has been kind of a holy grail.
Supposedly, the head molds were either broken or lost, and no more could
be produced. Recently, according to information posted on Helene's web page, the head molds
and facial screens for Meirin
were located at the Licca Castle. So now, any darn fool (like me!) can
buy her. Though I'm not trying to assemble an army of friends for Jenny,
I picked up Meirin because I can't resist a nice side-glancer.
- Street Pop Mitsuki
- Just what Jenny needs: a new friend! This is Jenny's little biker
gal buddy.
- Supermodel Club Naomi
- This pinstripe "Man Suit" is definitely the coolest supermodel outfit.
- Cheerleader Naomi
- Jenny's friend Naomi is also a cheer girl.
- Sommelier Naomi
- Tired of all these exclusives? Jenny also has friends to wait
on all her exclusive pals! This Naomi doll comes dressed as
a wine steward, with little accessories like wine bottles, glasses, and a
menu. Here's a close-up of her face.
