Sakura / Other stuff
| I've been seeing a few more non-Japanese market Sakura dolls pop up
recently. Here are a few that I believe were made for the Asian
market.

Hong Kong/Asian market Sakura doll in
Pink
- This 11" scale (ie, Barbie-sized) doll has been popping up on eBay and
in comic shops around here. It has Sakura dressed in her best-known pink
fighting outfit from the opening credits. I believe it was manufactured
for the Hong Kong/Asian market. It appears to be licensed, and even has a
little licensing sticker, barely visible up in the upper lefthand corner.
There is also a version with Sakura in her school uniform.
- Bandai Asia Clow Wand
- Here's the Asian market version of Sakura's Clow Rod. Love the
crazy-shaped packaging.
- Sakura carded figures
- These little carded figures are actually the same as a UFO catcher set
that was released in Japan, but released on card in Asia. Here's a
comparison of the carded
figure and the claw machine prize.
- Korean Market Cardcaptor
Cherry
Doll
- This is another 11" scale doll that appears to be made for the Korean
market. I really love the cute head mold on this doll, and the packaging is quite nice as well.
